  • All the time periods for comparing your net worth to the past persiod of your choice. The only exception to this is the intraday comparison, which requires real time intraday prices. This remains a premium feature.
This was a difficult decision to makes, but we hope this will make our free users happier and drive more users to our app via word of mouth. Rest assured, wee have a lot of new really exciting features coming up for our premium users!

Version 1.3.15

% change on the dashboard page

In the dashboard page you can see how your net worth has changed over some period that you prefer. This week, this month, this year, last 30 days, last 90 days, last 180 days, last 365 days or intraday. Now you can also see the percentage change over the respective timeframe:

Track a specific portfolio or your total net worth in terms of Bitcoin or Ethereum

Ok, this can be a bit confusing. You can track a portfolio in terms of BTC or ETH. So if you have only Bitcoin and you track the portfolio in terms of Bitcoin, your value will be unchanged, even though the BTC price is moving. If you trade a lot of altcoins and your USD value is going up, but Bitcoin price is also going up, are you making money or losing? You need to value in terms of BTC to answer this question. Same if you trade NFT or DeFI and want to denominate your portfolio in terms of Ethereum. Now you can do it with this new feature in TrackMyStack app.

Version 1.3.14

Multiple new features are now live with version 1.3.14

Move to portfolio

In order to move an asset from one portfolio to another, users had to delete it and then create it again. That meant all the history was lost which was less than ideal. We now introduced an easy way to move an asset to another portfolio. That is accessible in the asset page -> Advanced tab.

Easier to create assets from the home screen

To add a new asset users had to go to the portfolio page, and then click the + button to add a new asset. Now this can be done directly from the Dashboard page. Users get to choose if they want a new Asset or a new Portfolio

Better support for large font sizes

We have improved accessibility for users who have high zoom settings or bigger fonts on their phone. Now the text on the dashboard and other pages doesn’t get cropped.

Backup demo

We have prepared a short video to show you how to use the backup functionality in TrackMyStack to export your backups to external storage. This way you will be able to restore in case of device failure or loss.

Version 1.3.6

You asked for it so here it is. You can now add notes on the asset details page. Write details about our accouts, shareholdings in unlisted companies, location of your real estate, who owes to you or who you owe to.

There is also an easy to use asset/liability toggle switch as some people had difficulty entering liabilities on Samsung keyboards.

Let us know what you think from within the app.

Version 1.3.4

Welcome to version 1.3.4! You can now enable viewing your portfolio value changes over your chosen time horizon. Choose from Today (for intraday changes), This week, This Month, Last 30 days, last 90 days, last 190 days, last 365 days or Lifetime. Lifetime is available for everyone, the rest of the options are available only to premium subscribers.

Everyone also has the option to hide the chart in the dashboard page, if they want a cleaner look.

Enjoy and as always let us know what you think!

Version 1.2.5

Welcome to version 1.2.5! This is the first time we are introducing our premium subscription service. While all of our core functionality remains free, purchasing the premium subscription supports an app you love, allowing us to continue development and cover our costs without having to resort to ads.

Additionally you get the following benefits:

Live prices

During market hours (and during the weekend for crypto) the app is fetching real time prices (with 15 minutes delay). This way you don’t have to wait until the next day to get an update on your portfolio value.

Fingerprint, Face ID and PIN authentication

This is a very frequently requested feature. You can now lock access to the app, and unlock with a PIN or other biometric authentication available on your phone. Keep your confidential information away from curious eyes. And of course your data stays on your device only for complete peace of mind.

Exclude portfolios from net worth calculation

TrackMyStack offers unlimited portfolios and assets. Some of those portfolios you may not want to include in your net worth. Perhaps it’s your pension, or the portfolio of a friend or partner that you want to track, or maybe real estate or other illiquid assets. Now you can exclude them from your net worth total (and chart).

Archive assets

TrackMyStack doesn’t persist your valuation per day in the past. It stores the quantities of the assets you hold and then looks up the historical prices at those dates to generate the chart of your net worth. That means that when you delete an asset it is going to be deleted from the chart history as well. Most of the time what you really want if you sell an asset is to set the quantity to zero, but keep it around (and all the history of the quantities you held in the past), just not visible. This is what archiving does. When you sell an asset, archive it. The quantity will be set to zero, all history will remain in the charts and if you buy it again you can unarchive it and update the quantity.

Edit historical quantities

Some times you forget to update some assets and the chart looks wrong. Or there is a stock split and you didn’t update the quantities on the correct day, that will make the historical chart incorrect. For such cases there is the option to edit the historical quantities, for example you correct correct the date or the quantity of your assets.

We would love to know what you think about these new features. Let us know what you want to see next, we take your feedback very seriously.

Version 1.1.16

Version 1.1.16 of TrackMyStack is now available in the App Store and Play Store and has a new pie allocation chart at the portfolio page.

We hope you like it and let us know which feature you would like to see next.

Version 1.1.5

We are very excited to announced that version 1.1.5 is now released on both the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store in all regions.

Historical valuation charts are now available on the dashboard, portfolio and asset details screens. In the asset detail screen users can see the valuation in the portfolio currency (if different than the asset currency) and the historical asset price.

In the beginning the charts will be empty, so come back to the app to update all your manual accounts and see how the valuation changed in all your stocks/ETFs and cryptocurrency holdings.
